Accessibility statement

Nitro Studios wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our websites: nitromaps.com and jobs.nitromaps.com.

Level of accessibility

We work to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, and we check our pages against WCAG 2.1 level AA.

What we have done

  • Every link, button and form field works with a keyboard alone and shows a clear focus ring.
  • A “Skip to content” link, headings and page regions help screen-reader users move around.
  • Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text colours meet the required contrast (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
  • Moving content can be paused with the pause button, and all animation turns off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Form fields have labels, and messages such as “Message sent” are read out by screen readers.
  • Pages work on phones and when zoomed to 200%.
  • We test with automated tools (axe, Lighthouse) and by hand with a keyboard.

Known limitations

  • Some links lead to sites we don't run, such as Fortnite, YouTube and X. Their accessibility is up to their owners.
  • Game pictures are key art from the games. The game's name is given as the text alternative.

Contact us about accessibility

If something on our sites is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email business@nitromaps.com with the subject “Accessibility”. Tell us which page and what went wrong, and we will fix it or send you the information another way.
